杜風 38 期 學生點滴

本校外籍生聯誼社（NTUFSA）於11月20日參加「第一屆國立清華大學外國學生校際盃邀請賽」，榮獲足球錦標賽冠軍，凱旋歸來。

由清華大學舉辦「第一屆國立清華大學外國學生校際盃邀請賽」，希望藉由活動之舉行，提倡體育活動風氣，並加強外國學生互動及校園國際化。本次校際盃邀請賽，除了清華大學及臺灣大學之外，另有國立交通大學、國立成功大學以及國立中興大學三所大學受邀參加。

邀請賽的比賽項目包括足球及英式板球兩項，而本校外籍生聯誼社（NTUFSA）受邀參與足球錦標賽。外籍生聯誼社派出14位外籍同學組成代表隊參賽，球員背景多元，分別來自越南、美國、中國、伊拉克、西班牙、瑞典、蒙古、所羅門群島、吉里巴斯、祕魯以及聖多美等11個國家。本次比賽每場賽事上、下半場各三十分鐘，採單循環決賽制，共進行兩場比賽決勝負。

比賽當天上午十一點，代表隊先在足球場進行抽籤，決定第一場比賽的對手。下午一點，臺灣大學代表隊首先對上清華大學，經過一小時的攻守後，以2：1的比數險勝清華大學，晉級決賽。在稍作休息後，決賽於下午三點舉行，對上交通大學。結果臺灣大學代表隊不負眾望，以5：0大幅領先的漂亮成績，輕鬆擊敗交通大學，贏得第一屆國立清華大學外國學生校際盃邀請賽足球錦標賽冠軍。第二名與第三名分別為清華大學以及交通大學。

此次外籍生聯誼社參與校際盃邀請賽的成果豐碩，不但贏得冠軍凱旋歸來，也透過比賽過程培養外國學生間的默契及增加彼此情誼，並與他校外國學生交流。活動過後，同學們不僅得到冠軍的榮譽和喜悅，更在彼此 心中滋長出深刻的友誼。

NTUFSA soccer team, the Champion

In year 2008 and 2009, National Taiwan University held the first “International Students’ Soccer Festival”. And this year （2010）, National Tsing Hua University（NTHU）is the host of this festival so NTHU took the initiative and hosted their first International Soccer Festival on November 20^th. There were players（foreign students）from National Taiwan University（NTU）, National Chiao Tong University（NCTU）, and the host - NTHU. NTU was represented by National Taiwan University Foreign Students’ Association （NTUFSA）that proudly used and promoted the good name of NTU. NTUFSA soccer team won two straight matches by beating the host team, NTHU, 2–1, and 5–0 to NCTU. The most valuable player of these two games is Tom, a civil engineering student from Kiribati. He did his hat trick in the second match, and scored four goals in total.

NTUFSA left Taipei with a lack of players. While in the first game the team entered the field with no players on the bench, and in the second match the team had only two substitute players on the bench. This might be the reason why the team was losing 1–0 in the early five minutes of the first match. However, with the spirit of a winner, the team could convert the situation and finished the match by beating the host team 2–1. It was really amazing how we could win the Champion with limited players in this kind of intensive games. Even though we were playing at NTHU, NTUFSA still received warm audience responses. It was really exciting to see NTUFSA team playing against NCTU’s foreign student team. By beating NCTU 5–0, the NTUFSA really deserved the Champion. It was a very tactical and opened football with the both NTUFSA wings putting a constant pressure on an adversary facilitating the task of its striker. However, when only 10 minutes was left before the referee ended the game, NTUFSA team started facing some injuries caused by the extra efforts done by its strong and skillful players during the match by seeing some of his players claiming muscle cramp. Fortunately, the players overcame the situation, and they did very well and kept the result at 5–0. With this kind of performance, how could any team in Taiwan beat the NTUFSA soccer team this season？
