NTUVSA's Report For The 2011 International
Migrants Day

I. Introduction
On 4 December 2000, the General Assembly of UN, taking into account the large and increasing number of migrants in the world, proclaimed 18 December International Migrants Day. In which, UN want to promote the awareness about great contributions of immigrants from around the world and raise the responsibility to protect their legitimate.
National Immigration Agency hold the the festival annually. Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is chosen for the 2011 International Migrants Day.
National Taiwan University Vietnamese Student Association (NTUVSA) attended this event and made an amazing success in promoting Vietnam culture to Taiwanese and international friends. Our activities included introducing Vietnam's traditional handy-craft, food and beverage such as Nem, Trung Nguyen coffee, dragon-fly...
II. Preparation
NTUVSA finished almost the preparation works such as poster, decoration items, sounding system, bamboo art performance… We prepared to promote spring-roll (Nem) on Friday evening. It is very happy for all members will full of laughing.
We are very pleased to contribute our ambitious and passion to create not only delicious but also attractive Vietnamese cruise. Then, we introduce to Taiwanese and international friends.

III. NTUVSA's Activities
Although the activity is started at 13:00 but all members prepared to transport items to festival place at 8:00. We decorated our camp following Vietnamese style. Beside, NTUVSA exhibited and sold special Vietnamese items such as Trung Nguyen coffee, Nem, bamboo dragon-fly, statue...

In addition, we organize games and NTUVSA's lucky draw. Many gifts were awarded to participants and international friends.

Despite that it was rainy, NTUVSA's booth attracted not only Taiwanese visitors but also international ones. The TV program recorded our activities for promotion.
At last but not least, we would like to thank Office of International Affairs (OIA), Student Activity Center, VECO, Vietnam Airline, Mr. Han, participants, Taiwanese and international friends, NTUVSA members... to support us the event.
